Gabrielle DeFazio, M.S., CCC-SLP
Gabrielle is a certified speech language pathologist currently holding licensure in Virginia and Pennsylvania. She is also a certified lactation counselor (CLC) and member of Speech Hearing Association of Virginia’s (SHAV) Honor’s Committee. Gabrielle has a special interest in feeding and swallowing disorders as well as play-based and family-centered care. Gabrielle has worked in a variety of settings including home-health, early intervention, inpatient and outpatient feeding clinics, and special education.
Emily Johnson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Emily is a certified speech language pathologist currently holding licensure in Virginia. She has spent most of her career working with autistic individuals from ages 18 months to 26 years old. Emily has a special interest in early intervention and play-based therapy as well as interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure generalization of speech and language goals across environments.
We had the idea for Evergreen Speech and Language, LLC when discussing with a friend how difficult it was to find reliable in-home speech services in Richmond. We have worked together since 2019 and have collaborated on many presentations, staff trainings, and treatment plans of care. We are so excited to share our expertise and love of speech and language with you and your family! Your family will be assigned to one therapist, but working together ensures that we are always collaborating on best practices and therapy strategies.
